It’s National Teacher Appreciation Week!  We want to thank all of our staff for their continued dedication and service to the young people who come through our doors each day.  No job is more important than any other here, and we recognize that we could not do what we do each day without each and every staff member.  This week, thank a teacher or educator who has been impactful to you!

• Monday, May 18th: 4th Quarter Awards Assemblies (Elementary at 1:00 and Middle School at 2:00)
• Tuesday, May 19th: 8th Grade Continuation Ceremony 5:30
• Wednesday, May 20th: Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony at 10:00
• Thursday, May 21st: Last Day of School for Students

This list highlights only some of the events at CPA over the next three weeks.  Make sure you check the CPA calendar of events and your classroom newsletters for additional events and details.  Feel free to contact the front office with any questions.

Last call for artwork!  In conjunction with our upcoming CPA’s Got Talent Show on May 7th, CPA will also be holding an Art Show!  There are four categories: drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture.  All projects must be submitted on either May 4th or May 5th to either Mrs. Christianson or Ms. Dreyer.  See the flyer on the CPA website for more details, and contact either Mrs. Christianson or Ms. Dreyer with any questions.

Volunteers needed!  Our Spring band performance TOMORROW, and we are looking for six volunteers to help with ticket and nacho sales.  We are seeking volunteers from the CPA community (non band parents), so that our current band families can watch their students shine!  If your child is curious about band, this is the perfect low-pressure way to see Mr. Garza and our middle schoolers in action!  The concert is on Tuesday, May 5th, and we will need help from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Click HERE to sign up to help!

Ningún trabajo es más importante que otro aquí, y reconocemos que no podríamos hacer lo que hacemos a diario sin cada uno de nuestros miembros del personal. ¡Esta semana, agradece a un maestro o educador que haya tenido un impacto en tu vida!

¡En CPA nos esperan un par de semanas muy ajetreadas! Estos son los puntos más destacados:

• Lunes 4 de mayo: Ensayo general del concurso de talentos de 3:30 a 5:00.

• Miércoles 6 de mayo: Excursión de los alumnos de séptimo grado al Parque Financiero de Junior Achievement.

• Jueves 7 de mayo: Concurso de talentos 1:30

• Jueves 7 de mayo: Reunión de la PTA a las 4:00.

• Viernes 8 de mayo: Recogida de bolsas de papel durante la salida.

• Miércoles 13 de mayo: Reunión del BAAC a las 4:15 y reunión de la Junta Directiva a las 6:00.

• Lunes 18 de mayo: Ceremonias de entrega de premios del cuarto trimestre (Primaria a la 1:00 y Secundaria a las 2:00).
